A WINNING PARTNERSHIP WITH THE PUMAS!

We’re proud to announce we have committed to a season-long partnership with The Pumas U15 football team.

The Pumas is a U15 junior team playing in Enderby in the Leicester & District Sunday Junior League and are newly formed so needed to fundraise for all kit and training equipment. “Following a difficult experience for most of our current squad last season, we decided to set up a new team to give these young men an opportunity to enjoy their football again,” says coach, Gary Tilbrook. “However, we then had the challenge of funding the team, including all football kits, balls and training equipment,” adds Gary.

As one of The Pumas players, Henry, is the son of our directors, we were already firm fans but decided to take our support to the next level. Our director, Claire Hibbert explains: “After a tough season last year with several losses, the team’s morale was pretty low, so we wanted to help in whatever way we could to ensure a more positive start to this year’s campaign.

“By becoming the team’s official sponsor, The Pumas now have a smart matchday kit which has seemingly been a good luck charm! They’ve begun this season winning all their matches, including an incredible 12-0 win last week, and, more importantly, are enjoying being out on the pitch again.”

Gary Tilbrook adds: “We were so pleased and grateful when Garden Sense offered to sponsor the team; their generosity and support in providing a match kit and balls has made it possible for us to register a team in the league. We’ve had a fantastic unbeaten start to the season, making Garden Sense and Football & Fitness Pumas a truly winning partnership!”
